Angel Food Menu Plan

Posted in

Here is this months Angel Food Box. I am buying 2 boxes and supplimenting the rest of the month with items I usually buy at the store.

1.5 lb. Ribeye Steaks (4 x 6 oz.)
4.5 lb. (Avg) Split Chicken Breast Family Tray Pack
26 oz. Heat and Serve Meatloaf and Brown Gravy
1 lb. Chicken Breast Fajita Strips
1 lb. Boneless Center-Cut Pork Chops (4 x 4 oz.)
1 lb. Fully Cooked Meatballs
1 lb. All Meat Hot Dogs
1 lb. Frozen Sliced Carrots
1 lb. California Blend Vegetables
1 lb. Pasta
28 oz. Marinara Sauce
48 oz. Hawaiian Punch
32 oz. Borden 2% Reduced Fat Shelf Stable Milk
12 ct. Corn Tortillas
One Dozen Eggs
One Dessert Item

We do not drink punch, so I used it to make Popsicles and served them as desserts.

I usually make double on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday in order to have leftovers on the following days when we are gone for gymnastics and the boys need dinner when they get home. I guess it's pretty easy to establish a menu from this...here are the dinners I made from 2 of these boxes:

(2) Crockpot spaghetti and meatballs with pasta
(2) Chicken Pot Pie (doubled from one package)
(2) Chicken stir fry (doubled from one package)
(2) chicken fajitas
(2) Steak and onions
(1) Barbecue pork chops
(1) Pork fried rice
(2) Rice a roni with hotdogs
(1) Meatloaf and Fried Potatoes
(1) Salisbury sandwiches (using the meatloaf package)

The other meals I planned for the month, some of which use Angel food leftover from last months box, are as follows:

Turkey salad with pitas
(2) Black bean soup
Hot wings with fries
baked ham and sweet potatoes
(2) Baked chicken with potato chunks
(2) Chili and cornbread
(2) Garden veggie soup
Orange Terriaki stir fry
(2) Pork Tenderloin and apples

That pretty much covers a month of dinners!
